BUTTERFLY ON FLOWER

My attempt at a butterfly. I know butterflies are hard to draw and getting the wings symmetrical has always been the hardest part for me, so I cheated. Drawing butterflies on the side angle gives the artist less pressure to get the wings perfect. Also drawing an object with the butterfly, like the flower that I have drawn, draws some of the viewer's attention away from the butterfly, relieving even more pressure.

SWIRLED YIN-YANG

I finally managed to think up my own pattern around the same time I drew the 'ZEBRA CLOSE-UP' picture. I have always loved the yin-yang and always wanted it as a tattoo on the back of my neck, but I didn't want the yin half to be plain black and bold like everyone else's usually are, and usually swirls attract attention and are advertising to most. Took about a day, but I think it was worth it.

ZEBRA CLOSE-UP

ZEBRA CLOSE-UP

This is one of my drawings that I did a few months ago - around the time of my birthday - after going to the zoo. Animals have always been one of my passions so combining animals and art is like HEAVEN to me. This piece took a couple of hours, so its wasn't really difficult, but i enjoyed drawing it. Not my best, but oh well, keep reading to see some better ones.

Until next time . . .
